Kate's Promise

There's a reason I am here
And that's to conquer, with you, my deepest fear
You took my hand and held it with grace
For you knew of my fading face

Now I wake up every morning without you
I was so sure, so confident, that my time flew
I long and dream for you every night
But that doesn't bring you back to my sight

If by any chance you should be waiting
Then please believe me when I say ill be searching
For there's no where in the world I rather be tonight
Than in your warm embrace that has kept you in my heart so tight
