Poetry of a Lifetime
Your The One
As we met in the darkest night
When the stars shone ever so bright
I though I had strayed off into a dream
To where lay musical themes and endless streams
Your beauty overcame my grief and sorrow
And made me see for the better morrow
long have I awaited for your arrival
But I was deceived as I thought you were a rival
Now I see clearly the fairness you bring in the world
I saw how you helped us when we were caught in a whirl
For you, I would give my soul, my dreams and my life
For your the only one I wouldn't dodge a knife
