I have walked this day
Thinking of the past times
Remembering the children in their play
Never will I forget those lives

As I have always swept on
Forever we shall carry on
For I have seen the blinding light
and for you ill always be fighting bright

So don't shed no tears for me
For I have already paid that fee
But please forget me not
For I shall miss you a lot

Should I stay here till the dawn of time
Should I wait for you till the end of ever
Oddly this love tastes like bitter lime
And there will come that heart broken fever

So would you turn and look back again
Cause eternally I shall remain
Waiting for that uncaused affection
And hoping you wont give me a look of rejection

Even if we might not come together
Id like to be by your side
So you don't ever go nether
and we go to the good times in a stride
