Poetry of a Lifetime

A loved Ones Wait

As your heart has waited upon a distant gleam
I try to return to you while walking in this eternal stream
I have seen through the darkness, without finding the light
And now here I am knowing you were right

How could I have been so naive
Now im the only one to grieve
I thought through this adventure you would see courage
Instead you received nothing but loneliness and discourage

If I were to turn back time I would
I didn't listen, believing in good
I would have been with you in stars that were starry
Now the only thing I have left to say is sorry
